Instructions for Author

Research Journal of Language and Literature (RJLL) is an open-access, refereed journal, which is published annually. Journal articles and their abstracts are available online at the Lahore College for Women University, Lahorewebsite at the following url: https://www.rjll.org.pk/journals

Published in December every year, the Research Journal of Language and Literature provides a forum for critical issues and discussion in Arts and Humanities. All articles submitted for publication must be the original work of the author/s and should not have been submitted to, or published by any other journal (national or international).

Please submit your articles electronically by sending them to rjlleditor@gmail.com in MS Word format. Your article should be in between 5000 to 7000 words. The body of the email should contain brief biographical information about you. The first page of the submitted article should have an abstract of upto 150 words followed by a list of 5-7 keywords. All articles must follow the latest MLA style and formatting guidelines. Authors are entitled to a copy of the journal.

Submission Process

The RJLL has a comprehensive process of evaluation as it follows triple-blind peer review wherein after preliminary assessment (or Pre-Editorial Review) of an article by the Assistant Managing Editor(s), the same is reviewed by another internal Committee (known as Editorial Review Committee) comprising the RJLL Editor and Assistant Editor(s). However, selected members of the Advisory Board of RJLL covering subject area of the article are also consulted during the internal review process and after recommendations of the Editorial Review Committee, the article goes through a cycle of final evaluation i.e. review by relevant National and International peer reviewers. After the submission of a research article, the article goes through the following stages: Editorial Acknowledgment: (The in-hand document / letter).
